More than 90 Years of Community Service

The Woman's Club of Point Pleasant was organized and federated in 1927.

The Club is a member of The New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs (NJSFWC) and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). The club’s Mission Statement is to assemble women for furthering philanthropic endeavors in the areas of Education, Religion, Welfare, Science, and the Arts.

Members come from both Point Pleasant Beach and Boro, as well as many surrounding towns, including Bay Head, Brick, Lavellette, and Toms River.

The club gives several Scholarships to students from both High Schools, as well as to a woman returning to school. It also sends several girls to Girls, Career Institute (GCI), a mini-college experience. We also send Welcome Back baskets to local faculties in Sept., send breakfast to one school for National Education Week, and read at several schools for Read Across America in March. Beach Book Buddies provides books to area beaches during the summer. The club also donates to Project Graduation. The Book Club meets monthly on the second Wednesday.

Holiday stockings are sent to our troops overseas each year. Youth Art Month in March is recognized with a youth art exhibit. A Community Day of Service is held on MLK's birthday in January.

Among the many charities that the club supports are CASA of Ocean County, The St. Gregory’s Food Pantry, Joan Valentine House, Providence House, Dottie’s House, Ronald McDonald House, and Heifer International, as well as local First Aid, Police and Fire.

WCPP meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at Noon in the clubhouse.
Evening meetings are held bimonthly at 7pm (see calendar).
The clubhouse is located at 513 St. Louis Ave., Point Pleasant Beach.
